Coliseum Sports Media is expecting more people to enroll for their online service over back of Lydia Ko's new status as being the best female golfer on the planet.
In December, Coliseum won the broadcasting rights on the LPGA Tour in Nz, previous to previous rights holder Sky Television.
Coliseum streams the coverage online, with a package to get a month costing $19.90 as well as a year's subscription $199. They also hold the rights towards the men's PGA Tour.
Stuff.co.nz's live blog with the final round in the season-opening Coast Golf Championship on Sunday was hugely loved by dozens of readers not aware of the progress of rights holder, and angry they could no longer watch Ko on Sky.(golf a vendre)
However, Coliseum Sports Media boss Tim Martin said Ko was now more accessible utilizing their service. Punters could now listen up on the web and watch Ko live, whether they were when in front of a tv or perhaps not.
He stated Coliseum was expecting lots of people to join their service anyway, but Ko's second-place and ascent to the world 1 ranking is "definitely driving a great deal of interest".
"I think with Lydia having such a great start to the entire year, we'd like to provide much more access, we'd desire to get some good of computer on free-to-air TV, we're functioning on that," he was quoted saying.(SpeedBlade Fers pas cher)
"Certainly which has a major reason for national interest does do nutrients with the service beyond doubt."
